About Voice of the Animals
Julie Lines established Voice of the Animals in response to a personal calling to take action to help to change the way humanity views and treats all of the animal kingdom.
For far too long humans, in general, have taken to excess from the precious planet and from all of nature; taken without asking, thought or wisdom. As a result much is severely out of balance. This has caused some to question what we should be doing about this imbalance but many simply bury their heads in the sand and pretend nothing is happening.
Voice of the Animals’ purpose is to work with as many people as possible to share and raise awareness, specifically focussing upon the animals that inhabit this Earth with us. This is not simply out of compassion for all species, which plays a huge part, but it is also out of a burning sense of urgency to rebalance this amazing planet.
If enough people change the way they view and treat animals, around the world, this will have an impact on the masses and these positive changes will benefit everyone. Humanity needs to make this shift, if we are to preserve and rebalance the planet.
If we want to see change happen it always has to begin with ourselves. Improving the quality of the relationship you have with your animals is an excellent way to make a positive impact.
The foundational principles of Voice of the Animals are summarised best with the following statements – the mission, vision and values are central to everything that we do. You can then read a little more about Julie’s background.
Our Mission
To assist in the rebalancing and recontracting* between the animals the kingdom of nature and humanity.
To raise awareness and consciousness in humans as to the significance of animals, nature and the balance of this planet.
To give as many animals as possible a voice to be heard by humanity.
To share with others how to relearn to hear the animal voice, especially with the scientific world and the conservationists around the world making decisions based only on the past or the human perspective.
To show animals that we are changing and evolving, that we need their wisdom and teachings and we do have the capacity to rise above the old ways of treating our animal relatives and the natural world as our possessions to do with as we will.
* Recontracting = Agreeing ways to change the relationship between the animal kingdom and humanity in order to realign and balance the planet at the level of the collective consciousness.
Our Vision
Animals and the natural world are honoured and respected, protected and cared for as equals on this planet.
Humans evolve beyond the old, outworn mindsets. As a part of this evolution an abundance of prosperity is shared with all life, as equals.
There is an important place and purpose for all species and this is recognised and respected. The voice of all the animals is placed alongside humanity’s voice and treated with equal importance.
Animals are allowed to be who they are. They are free to give service of themselves and their produce; it is given willingly or not at all.
Our Values
Underpinning everything we do are our shared and constant values of :
| Truth | Passion |
| Authenticity | Courage |
| Wisdom applied | Integrity |
| Flexibility | Fidelity |
| Unconditional love | Faith |
| Responsibility | Hope |
| Respect | Optimism |
| Fun | Focus |
| Simplicity | Co operation |
| Dedication |
A few more words from Julie Lines
As a child I was forever daydreaming, had a very active imagination and a burning love for animals and nature. I was all too quickly talked away from my passions though, taught to do as I was told and to learn “the way things really were.” I always felt a huge mismatch between this and what I just knew and felt was the truth.
As I grew up my passion for animals and nature never died but was stamped on at every opportunity. It almost disappeared entirely as I did my utmost to lead my life according to the “rules” and entered corporate life in my late teens.
Many years have passed; I have been a very successful business woman for more years that I care to admit! For the past six of those years I have run a thriving consultancy working internationally with senior corporate leaders and their teams developing their capabilities, especially in the area of emotional intelligence and releasing the true potential in themselves and their people.
I have been fortunate to learn a great deal about the psychology of the human condition, business and communication. I have studied psychology, Neuro Linguistic Programming (to Master Practitioner and Trainer level) and have gained many other qualifications around the human mind and releasing potential. I’ve always had a burning desire to develop and release my own and other people’s true potential.
Despite the years of doing this work and gaining great satisfaction from it, I always knew something was missing. In 2005 I began to rekindle the flames in my heart for animals and began what is now an accelerated path towards fully realising my talents and abilities to communicate and connect with animals.
I have been studying and building up my practice working with all kinds of animals and people, and the results have been just amazing and so fulfilling. I now fully appreciate the meaning of the phrase “life purpose” as it does not feel like work in any sense of the word.
I am delighted to see the combination of all my skills, knowledge and experience coming together, as I work with people and animals to build strong and harmonious relationships that really work for all involved.
Working with others to unlock the breakdowns in understanding, showing the needs of the animal from its own species’ perspective, sharing historic information that explains the behaviour of the animal, often labelled as misbehaviour by us, gives me a buzz like no other.
Teaching others how to reconnect with this innate ability and to practice it actively is another huge joy for me. I aim to spread this knowledge and understanding as far and wide as possible. Being able to share this with like minded people so that they can experience this level of communication as well is just an amazing honour.
I am also sharing my thoughts and findings through writing a number of books that will explain more about communicating with animals, showing how each species on the planet has a unique and vital part in balancing the world and how each of us can help to respect and protect this balance.
If this site and all you have read so far is relighting your passion for animals on a deeper level then please get involved and play your part in helping to shift the way humanity co-exists with all its animal relations – we all do make a difference, please make yours a positive one.
