Dear Yvonne, thank you for your lovely words, you are certainly not alone. As you read in the wonderful Cattie's post, many people are doing many amazing things for animals and the numbers are multiplying daily. More and more people are waking up and I'd love to invite you to join the Awakening to Animals Facebook page - where a community of light minded souls meet up and annually we host an international conference where leading animal centric experts share their latest thinking and work, all themed around Equality for All Life. It would be wonderful to see you there! Our next conference will be held in central England on 22-23 June 2013. Your new book sounds wonderful please do share on Facebook how we can find it. Sending much love and blessings to you, Julie. XXXXX

It was so exciting reading about you and the strong feeling of kinship. I am also an animal healer, massage therapist and continue to try and be the voice for animals but so often feel I am on my own.

I have just written a book called The Responsibility of Choice which is about the cause and effects of our life choices so it was interesting for me when you said about your choices and where they have brought you.

I look forward to getting to know you all better

Love & Blessings

Thank you Don! I'm so pleased you like the write up - of course it only really scratches the surface of what was going on over the weekend but hopefully it gives you a taster anyway! Hoping you will be able to join us at the next conference in June 2013. All the best to you Don. :0)

Hello there Jinny, its wonderful to hear from you! Well done for connecting with Gem, she is a real wild child. She was a feral and I found her (and she chose me!) at a rescue centre about four years ago. OK so here are my responses from what I know about Gem, which isn't that much as she is very mysterious and likes it that way! 1) She eats in other houses so although I don't feed her the brand you mention it is possible she has had this. 2) Again, I don't know of anyone called Buddy but that is not to say she doesn't have a friend called Buddy. There are lots of local cats here and I don't know their names. 3) She only has a tiny spot of white but it is on her tummy not her tail sadly, 4) DEFINITELY loves to sleep on the bed, radiator bed and next doors beds too! WELL DONE! 5) She tolerates Marcus and Jack now, they are my other two felines, initially she would attack them, so it is quite possible she would say they are cool now! 6) I'm not sure what Wily means, doesn't ring any bells with me, but that doesn't mean it doesn't mean anything to Gem and Brenda! Brenda lives next door and she adores hanging out with her. 7) That is great! She loves to sleep in the radiator bed at night and it is definitely in need of a replacement cover! Well done! 8) & 9) She is a very loving girl, not in a conventional way though, she likes lots of space and quiet and prefers to be outdoors. I know she loves me and I love her, just not in a cuddles and fusses kind of way! So very well done Jinny, not easy connecting with a feral cat as mysterious as Gem! Keep practicing as much as you can and you will get better and better. A suggestion for you that you might find helpful is that I have a webinar programme running at the moment with recordings of the sessions I have run so far on the website webinar page that you can buy and download. There is a lot less pressure than at workshop style events and you may find them helpful as you build your confidence. Sending you lots of love and blessings and well done again!
Hi! Could you please let me know if I got any of these right?
1. 'Cats' - a brand of tinned food!
2. Buddy
3. On her tail
4. On the bed
5. They're cool
6. Wily!
7. A new bed
8. I love you
9. I love you all - people, bees, birds!

Thanks so much! :-) I'm just starting out and feel like I'm able to establish a connection with my own dogs and with the dogs of friends who're having problems with their animals, but I find it very challenging at communication classes and with photos.

Hi Beth, thank you so much for your great story about Kim, yes I just love the practical, get on with it, approach they have, inspiring and wonderful. I was so honoured to be there with them and to connect with the animals directly, who were full of love and peace for all the people that had helped them feel better and to be treated better... wonderful positive action... Much love and blessings. XXX

Hi Julie, I was so pleased to see your pictures of ACE and have Kim and her international team acclaimed on your site. They truely are doing wonderful work there in Luxor and I know it hasn't always, if ever, been smooth sailing. I recall Kim taking her ambulance out to Karnak and spending considerable time there seaching for an emaciated dog which had collapsed in front of our small group. When asked, a keeper there said he knew the dog. It just needed a good feed. "Then feed it!" she said most emphatically....a real fighter for animal care.

Dear Sarannah, thank you for your comment, it's great to hear from you. I spoke to quite a few people in Luxor and they were all singing ACE's praise too, they are magical indeed. Luxor is truly starting anew now and it is so wonderful to see that the animals there are being given a voice too and being cared for in a respectful and loving way. Blessings and love to you and all in Luxor. XXX
