Dearest Animal Communicators,
So here is a question for you to ponder; in order to build evidence of a different species level of intelligence, is it a fair comparison to use OUR language and interpretation as the measure?
African Grey parrots are highly evolved beings and my encounters with them have left me in awe and in no doubt that their intelligence far exceeds even the claims of this clip. They have shown me that their purpose in the physical is nothing in comparison to their purpose when their souls move back to the non-physical.
This video shows the work of a very dedicated lady called Dr Irene Pepperberg and her parrot companion Griffin. She has been working with parrots for many years and her training methods are searching for evidence to prove that parrots can not only learn and mimic but can understand the meaning of the human language they are using.

I’m not certain but I think the other now dead Parrot mentioned in the clip (Alex) may of been the subject of an older Discovery Channel documentry back in the late 90′s. It amaized me then and I find it no less amaizing now.
I wonder if that London parrot they mentioned is having fun, confusing cats.

Great to hear from you and yes, I think you are right that Alex was also on the television. I have also heard that there is an African Grey who is able to construct full sentences showing understanding and making personal choices using our language. Yet another example of how the old human mind sets and beliefs about animal intelligence are so badly distorted. Time for the new age to emerge and to be marvelled at… Animals are evolving just as we are too.
